While I generally feel refreshed and revel in the serenity of nature, both sight and sound, I must also admit that no adventure is complete without a sound track. A well picked song, paired with the beauty of nature, has set my soul on fire, while simultaneously completely obliterating my heart and setting me free. I am haunted by the wind through the trees, I grin at the sound of the birds chatting away, and I stand in awe of the deafening sound of nothing. They all have their place, but I will always have some good music on my adventures. So, here is my personal top 25 hiking songs.
